The museum was established as ¡®Cyan art center¡¯ in 2004 and Cyan Museum of Art received authority for the first registration of art museum in the region in December, 2004. Cyan Museum of Art opened through the renovation of a closed school which is the mixture of old school¡¯s nostalgia and contemporary building. The museum has been built for a long term of renovation, with the nature oriented museum to serve various art and culture businesses for local community. Cyan Museum of Art with young passion has provided cultural service for not only Deagu and Gyeong-buk provincial community but many of travelers, and tried to reduce culture gap between metropolitan and local area. The museum thinks communication is the most important principle for contemporary beauty. We will do our best to make Cyan Museum of Art the beautiful art space for local community. Exhibition Cyan Museum of Art exhibits various genres of visual art 4~5 times every year. The museum exhibits not only planned exhibition but also the exhibition with government¡¯s various joint business. Also, we are waiting for good independent curator¡¯s exhibitions. Cyan Museum of Art has 25,000 square meter¡¯s sculpture park where you have an appreciation of oversea's and domestic main artists' works.
